Rickie Mirzaian's "Pearls for Parris" business, named after her baby daughter Parris, began operation in the year 2000. She has an extensive and well respected career in Wedding Coordination, designing and styling sophisticated events for the influential and affluent families of Sydney.
During this time Rickie noticed a need for the supply and coordinated approach to Wedding and Wedding Party jewellery. Through this niche market Pearls for Parris designer jewellery was born. Initially her designs sold through select markets and exhibitions around Sydney and later in Country NSW, Brisbane and Melbourne. Rickie’s experience in design and sure-fire natural talent ensured her business was an instant success. But it was her passion for ameliorating her customers needs, ensuring their expectations were exceeded, that catapulted her popularity.
In 2006 the first Pearls for Parris Jewellery Salon was opened in Seaforth, Sydney; a trendy and booming suburb on Sydney’s northern beaches. Here, customers experience a full "salon" consultation with Designer Rickie Mirzaian where jewellery can be custom made and coordinated to complement any outfit or event congregation. The roaring success of her retail business lead to the inevitable and natural progression to selling her designs online thus reaching her national and international markets.
